Beachgoers Attend Historic Sunrise Ceremony

With the rising sun reflecting off the Atlantic Ocean waves, Jewish residents of Florida took to the beach earlier this month for the historic Blessing of the Sun ceremony just before Passover. At Satellite Beach’s Pelican Park, approximately 40 people gathered for a ceremony led by Rabbi Zvi Konikov of Chabad-Lubavitch of the Space & Treasure Coasts. The service featured the singing of Chasidic melodies.
