Children Decorate Unity Menorah in Southern California

Hundreds of Jewish children throughout S. Barbara, Calif., gathered outside an area mall Sunday night to personally decorate the “Unity Menorah” erected by the local Chabad-Lubavitch center. Part of the “Unite the Lights” national campaign, the event urged attendees to spread light and goodness in response to last month’s terror attacks in Mumbai, India. Attendees decorated wooden tiles before affixing them to the base of the giant menorah.
