Recent Fundraiser Benefited From Students' Touches

The Chabad-Lubavitch Jewish Student Center serving Brandeis University held its first-ever gala dinner this month. The student-run affair drew some 100 guests, who each paid $180 to attend. The proceeds, including a reported $20,000 pledge, will benefit the center, directed by Rabbi Peretz and Chanie Chein.
