Millions Watch Menorah Lighting in Brazil

A reported tens-of-millions television viewers, as well as tens of thousands of commuters and pedestrians, witnessed the Dec. 6 Chanukah menorah lighting conducted by Chabad-Lubavitch of Brazil on S. Paulo’s Avenida Paulista. The regional governor and the city’s mayor were on hand for the celebration.
Chabad-Lubavitch of Brazil’s menorah on the central Avenida Paulista in S. Paulo is visible to tens of thousands of commuters every day. Tens of millions of people tuned in to the menorah’s nationally televised lighting on Dec. 6.
