Celebrating a Quarter Century with New Building and Torah Scroll

Chabad-Lubavitch of Curitiba, Brazil, celebrated 25 years of operation by dedicating a new building and a Torah scroll, and then quickly pledged to expand. Two newly arrived emissary-couples will help the institution do just that.
Curitiba, Brazil’s past meets its future as Holocaust survivor Naftali Steinberg joins a group of children in the ceremonial ribbon-cutting of the new Chabad-Lubavitch building. Rabbi Yoseph Dubrawsky, left, co-director of Chabad of Curitiba, looks on.
