Beloved Vancouver Rabbi Honored with New Torah Scroll

May 29, 2013 9:11 AM
The sudden passing of Rabbi Lipa Dubrawsky at the age of 56—a scholar and director of adult education at Chabad-Lubavitch of Vancouver, Canada—inspired Valeriy and Ira Arustamov to donate a Torah scroll they had commissioned to write in honor of the beloved rabbi. The Torah will go to Chabad-Lubavitch of Richmond, part of the Metro Vancouver area. (Photos: Leon Shkolnik)
