Jewish Life Celebrated in North Cyprus

Yards from one of the biggest hotel complexes on the island of Cyprus' northern coast, a Jewish family is building a faithful following. Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Chaim and Devora Azimov moved to Kyrenia in March 2008 to open North Cyprus' first center dedicated to Judaism. Today they assist more than 100 Jews who have moved to the area in recent years.
