Two New Ritual Baths for Northern Ukraine

Chabad-Lubavitch responded to an impending demolition of the only mikvah serving the Ukrainian town of Zhitomer by recently opening a brand new facility. The new mikvah building, funded through a campaign launched in the wake of the order to flatten the Jewish community's corroding mikvah, houses ritual baths for both men and women.

To fully celebrate the mikvah's grand opening, officials also launched a series of lectures on the Jewish laws of family purity.

Combining elegance and style, the mikvah boasts a spa facility for female patrons to use before immersing themselves in the ritual bath.
