"Getting lost in the chain" This really resonated with me. Since 1998 I have researched and posted on an Internet newsgroup, now on Google, resources so that Jewish people can't say "I don't have a copy of X so I can't study it." Gd be praised that the Internet has so much such material. The reason I started doing this is that people posting questions on the group -- and the same questions showed up over and over again -- didn't have to ask the questions if they studied the sources. Their confusion came from listening to bad translators and to commentators who, even with the best will in the world, sometimes didn't accurately represent the material. Letting somebody else do a mitsvah for you doesn't work. Neither does letting somebody else study for you. Reply
