Although I'm 40 now, in many aspects of my inner being I know I'm still that 3 year old little girl....and He is there every time I need...

This is an awesome video! Powerful message! Reminds me of my own son waking in the middle of the night.

child afraid in middle of night
Most poignant line was, "Do you have to go back now?"
G-d never "goes back," He stays with us always.
Why can't the kid take her blanket and pillow and bunk out on the floor near Mom's bed? not every single night of course but when a 3 year old is AFRAID like that, it's heartbreaking to make her stay alone!

Step 7
While talking to my sponsor tonight I was afraid. I was afraid and fearful of not being able to drive home from the clubhouse safely.
Step 6-Were entirely ready to have G-d remove these defects of character. And so I wrote out a Seventh step on paper. "Dear G-d, Please relieve me of my fear and replace it with non-fear." Being afraid brought me both closer to G-d and to faith for as things turned out my fear was removed and I drove home safely.

Chana,
Your words and delivery move me to tears every time. I am a tough girl, but relieved to know my heart is working.
Thank you.

Thank you so much for this sweet and powerful little voice, already so strong and so wise!
That is how I want to become, less scared, closer to G-d and more confident in life.
Thank you little Chana, you touched my heart.
May you receive a lot of blessings.

I, Chana Tova Smoller think that your clip is representing my little sister Batsheva (also my second cousin Sarah'la) and your clip was the most adorable thing I have ever heard in a long long time.

I think this is very unrealistic. When my kids woke up from a bad dream, I stayed with them or I brought them to my bed. I never left my children alone in the night if they were scared. And I'm sure that G-d is ever more watchful of us at all times since He's Omnipotent, All-Knowing, and IS the "there" that we know. Why does it have to give the impression that a mother just leaves a child to continue to be alone and afraid. She should have been holding that little girl until her fear went away. This left me with an unresolved feeling...

leaving your child alone
your right mrs. kuzecki .
however there is also an aproach of encouraging the child with enough love and warmth in a way that empowers him to fight his fears on his own,and thus coming out stronger than ever

Okaaaaay...
Very nerdy, but otherwise kinda cute. The little girl has a cute voice, but do you think a three-yea-old would say such profound statements?
