If you had one wish to be granted by G‑d ... what would it be?
235 Comments Posted

The film was excellent! If people, everyone could have this wish daily, and they spent time pondering what they desire, it would make the world a more peaceful. . .G-dly place.
The shame is that the opportunity is there everyday whether we realize it or not. . .
G-d is all forgiving but He requires something from us. . .our praise to Him. If this would happen. . .

I am so thankful for Chabad. As a traditional almost non-observant Jew, you have opened my eyes and have liberated my neshuma. Chabad-Lubavitch practices the real essence of Jewishness - welcoming and non-judgemental and supportive of every trivial staggering step towards greater observance. Yashir Koach. Thank you!
Athough I was not brought up as a Jew, it was heartening to hear how many people wished for world peace in the film clip. It is my wish also. It will happen. There is so much love manifesting in this age. People are becoming enlightened. So be it.
Thank you for your teachings. Love and light,

Start with one's self, hold yourself to the highest level because you are worth it. Now if you are taking care of you, the rest of the population can take care of themselves.

I wish peace for Israel for the year 5767 and a happy new year to all my brother jews all over the world. All the Aman of this era will receive all the bad wishes that they have regarding Israel and the Jews around the world. Israel will remain until the Mashiaj will be with us.
Some good wishes, others very materialistic. So what is the lesson?
I wish that the Messiah comes--- before Rosh Hashana!!
Very well made. Brings out the message very clearly. G-d bless all of you! Happy new year!
This video was excellent!!!!

May it be that hatred of the other will no longer be taught to the young. May it be that the young grow up in health security and harmony. May it be that the young of all Nations and peoples grow old together with compassion and wisdom in health. May it be that all human kind take good care of each other on this small fragile world whirling suspended in the void.
Footsteps are present, people hear the sound without knowing what it is. There is only so much time for each and all.
In our confusion, anger and hatred all may nearly be destroyed, or we can choose life, and live.
May G-d judge us for a good year. May we each and all do our utmost to make it so.
Really enjoyed. Loved the guy in Haeretz who says I just want the Meshiach to com.
Shana tova le culam -- Happy new year to all, u meusheret -- and happy, ve b col briote -- and healthy..... Shana Tova,
Many times during Rosh Hashanah we talk about resolutions, about creating shalom, when in fact we should be CONTINUING the shalom we promised to create in years past. Peace in itself is not a miracle. The miracle lies in our concerted efforts to bring about that peace which the world sorely needs. We as Jews must understand ourselves strongly as Jews in a world that will attempt to topple us if divided we exist. Shanah Tova!
What i want for the new year is A lot more love A lot less hate. A lot more peace, A lot less war. A lot more happiness A lot less sadness That's all. I mean, isn't that enough?
Love and kinishes

Dear JEM film producers, It is 1:50 am here. I have spent several hours cooking for the chag, and just opened your post for "a second." I loved both of these films, their humor, love of people, and love of Jews. You have helped me get into the spirit of the Yom Tov and out of the kitchen. Shana Tova to all and may Chabad continue to do its good work.
I love watching and looking at the clip of the new year wish. It made me smile to hear almost everyone wish for peace. I too wish for peace but all of us know that peace will not come till Messiah comes and brings eternal peace for all people. But I have peace in my heart now; while I am waiting for Him to return. Shalom
All in all, this film made me proud, especially to be a Jew :)
Thank you very much, the filmclip inspired me a lot. I was touched by the sincerity of the wish of forgiveness and the wish to be a better Jew. I wish that we will grow in the midah of (self)sacrifice and will unite, so that we will be a blessing for the world. Shana tova,

Peace for all peoples, end death, poverty, sickness violence. safe return of kidnapped Israleis to their families. Rabbi, please pray for Young family we are orphans. My family is dead. I'm a single mother. I've worked two jobs all my life. I recently became disabled and unable to support my family. It has been a nightmare my family. My daughter worked two jobs to put herself through college. Esther graduated deeply in debt and does not have a job now. She wants to go to graduate school. My son has been on his own since he was 15 years old. Terry Jr. has life threatening illness and needs deliverance and healing. Please ask G-d to end our suffering, heal us, reconcile us, restore us, protect and provide for us. We do not want to be homeless, sick, in debt, or have our family torn apart. Thank You,
For myself, health, nachas from my kids, to landscape my back yard, lots of energy! For my husband, health, lots of money, nachas from our children. For my children: to walk in the way of Torah, to grow strong and have all the blessings I have in my life and more. For my community: I pray for everyone to have enough food and every meal! For my country: Peace, secure borders, unity For my nation: That we should have the wisdom and strength to do the work we are given to do, that we can unite and be that "Light unto the nations" For all humanity: that evil should be lifted and replaced by G-d's Light of love and the rebuilding of the Beit Hamikdash!
Thanks Chabad for all that you are, teaching all that you teach, and being a role model for "v'ahavt l'recha c'mocha" Love your fellow like yourself. You all are shining stars and bless the world.
If we all want peace, we can start with ourselves- finding Gd within us; finding the spark that contributes to the light of the world- brightening those lives beyond our circle to all those created by the Almighty. i.e. be an example and trail blazer by reaching out as never before!
A blessed, peaceful and healthy New Year for all Jews and may we be inscribed for the good. May Moshiach come quickly. And may we be judged with compassion. Shana Tova to all reading this.
Thank you so much for your hard work and bringing to every day life the light and direction it needs. Shana tova to all

I was thinking of not going to Shul for Rosh Ha Shannah this year and spending time with my boyfriend instead. This video reminded me of how important being jewish is to me and how much i love my faith. I will definatly be going to shul this year and I pray that G-d will strengthan my faith and help me become a better Jew.
I wish that I will be more mercifull, kinder and more charitable to those around me esepcially to homeless and sick people and to everyone that has so much less than i do.
I hope G-d will give me the courage to speak and help the next homeless person i see on my way to work instead of being scared of what other people might think when i stop to talk to them. Jewish or not - we are all the creation of G-d.
Shanah Tova ve Metukah le Kulam ve gam shalom le kol ha am sheli be Israel.
i wish and pray for Jerusam's peace! Because that's when Messiah will return!
Thank you! Peaceful, healthy and sweet New Year!
This video is so enlightening.
My one wish from G_d is to remove anger from the world and I resolve to eliminate anger from my life.
I look forward to and I'm thankfull to Hashem every day for the messages I recieve from Chabad.org
L'Shana Tova
I keep coming back to Chabad for a reminder of who I am and what I am capable of. People should see that they put what they want on their plate and can change it if they want.
If you just wish for the Moshiach to come , practically everyone would get their wish for peace. P.S. I don`t know about getting a new Passat though.............
I would like to see World Peace and the resolution of the environmental problems in the world.
L'Shana Tovah, Thank you for this filmclip. Most of all I wish the peace and stability to HaAretz Yisrael. My alone son lives in Israel so my thoughts and heart are always with Jewish people.
Thank you for the blessing that you provide. I would wish the same as Solomon. That is that G_d would give me wisdom. Peace in life and peace in the world cannot be attained without wisdom.
As my father, of blessed memory, was Jewish and my mother was not , I wish to do a formal conversion in the faith of my father so that I may be accepted and seek to fulfil my full potential.
I wish G-d would reveal himself more opulently for all to see even if for a split moment to remind all human beings to choose peace and to renew their covenant with him. Shana Tove
I can state it no better than Appreciation from Anonymous, Montreal Canada above. Re: Chabad/Lubavitch. I thank G-D daily for my Lubavitch Rabbi and for the light & acceptance they truly bring. The light which they ignite helps each of us to want to do more, one Mitzvah at a time to hasten the arrival of Mesiach. To all, a joyous & sweet L'shana Tova
An excellent short film to wake up to. Shana Tova,
May we all heed the sound of the shofar and look forward to the day when Moshiach comes in all His glory.
Whereas Thales, a 6th Century BC Philosopher, suggested that the cause of all things is "G-d's Water".
And because I have experienced personally the great healing power of "G-d's water" in swimming to repair a damaged nerve in the lower back ...
I wish that we could afford and build more swimming pools and swimming programs, here in Indiana and elsewhere, to get kids to become better accustomed to swimming at an earlier age.
The development of the "core muscle structure" from an early age will undoubtably provide a healthier body, a more disciplined mind, and a more social organism.
Ready will these kids be, and it is never too late for adults, to not exist in a state of fear, as this exercise through "G-d's water" will grant strength and develop patience to deal with both the constancy and chaos of "G-d's water".
In three years, anyone by the grace of "G-d's water", can be healed to be better! Not back to an original state ... but to a new state of bettering oneself.
I only wish Chabad could bring us all together in shalom. Bless you.
Peace to all of Israel Brought tears to my eyes. Shana Tova
Wishing is about being human, and G-D is not a business or an oracle. The burden of our wishes is upon our flesh. We have the spirit, now let's make the world a better place.
My wish is for all healing and health and peace and love to take root within me and within each of us..and then it would manifest itself in the world around us.
That the meaning of evey Jewish holiday would be conneted to heaven on earth and that the entire world would understand heaven on earth clearly through education, which is the only tool in peace. Communication, in reality, will bring life for our children and their future. Education must explode, freely given to all that ask!
more organizations who seek love of all like chabad are very necessary.
The one about Moshiach is the ultimate wish, if you have that, then you have world peace and all the other wishes that you wish.
I am a Christian who loves G-d's chosen people, and my wish is, 1. to be a billionaire to financially assist as many people in need as I can, and 2. that the songs G-d has given me will reach millions for Him in my lifetime and will be sung by people for centuries from now,and most of all, 3. to know G-d up close and personal.
Interesting that I would have also asked for Peace on Earth
The one guy nailed my wish and new years resolution. The coming of maschiac and to grow further in my jewish faith. Great video in seeing what many types of people desire. Thanks!
As a student of Kabbalah I am intensely aligned with the roots of Judaism. My wish for the New Year is that our beautiful hearts desire is made manifest. I accept that my desires are already here and I embrace them NOW.
I would wish that we could answer G-d's prayers. We always pray for ourselves...our family and friends...for world peace..etc..but He who answers are prayers has spent his entire spiritual existence catering the the prayers of the world's peoples...but what have we done for Him? Let us pray that we can answer his call...and fulfill the blessing of his name and His glorious kingdom.
The video reminded me of my birthplace, New York and all the kind and optimistic people from all walks of life. A sweet new year to all!
to be doing work within the Jewish community making enough money to support a wife -living in an apartment close to Louis st- study with Rabbi Leven and be an acceptable part of this community,
This was a truly magnificent film. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was better than the sermon I heard at temple this morning.
I like chabad alot. It helped me through the difficult parts of my life.
Thank you so much for this short movie , it was a joy to watch.... My goal for this new year is to have a even more deeper relationship with my father & King en to find out more and more about my Jewish roots and living a Jewish life!!
Excellent! Hope it will awaken their souls real purpose!
I am so grateful to The Shul and the Lubavich Chabad Mvmt for helping awaken my Jewish soul. All Jews should be so loving and accepting of differences around the world. If this were the case maybe there would be more love in the world. They have helped me feel so much more warmth toward Judaism. I therefore have increased my and my children's level of observance.
Thank you for being there, to remind us that there is a God.
Thank you Chabad Org. for your devotion to us all. I am so proud of being a Jew ! Shana Tova to all.
My wish of many parts is for G-d to keep His long-standing promises of the Return of the lost of Israel and the Restoration of the Temple (and of the people, including myself) this year. I wish for the Temple to be a universal House of Prayer for all nations. And I want the Jewish people to be truly a nation of priests so that good and G-d will prevail. And I hope G-d will sit on His throne of mercy rather than judgment.
Like every caring person, I to wish for world peace. Also immediate peace in the middle east. Accord in Iraq. A healthy new year for my family and loved ones.
I'm smiling :). Sports wishes, peace, moshiach... may it all come to pass.
Watch the film, it's like being in NYC for a few minutes. Love, Sue
Beautiful experience to listen, learn and love what we are all about!
I noticed that most people wished for peace.
Let the disease known as cancer be taken out of the world now for all peoples for all times, let all environmental toxins be taken out of the world, now for all peoples for all times, let the world economic structure be a manifestation of G-d's law and desire for us, let our management of the earth, air and water be a manifestation of G-d's law, let our medical system be based in truth of the human physiology regardless of loss of profits for insurance companies, drug companies and stock market value, let the insurance industry show it's colors, now, let the truth about the insurance and banking industries be revealed to the public and shouted from the roof tops and those responsible for impoverishing the public be held in the clear light of personal responsibility, let the money trail of Hezbollah's funding be revealed for all to see and those responsible be held accountable. Thank you H'S" that this is so.
My only wish is that Moshiach should come already! Why should we ask for less? The time has come for all the darkness and pain of this bitter exile to end and for us to finally enjoy the true and complete Redemption!!!
I am not a Jew, I am a Christian. I wanted to learn more about our foundation in Judaism and this site makes it so easy....
The new year greeting you sent me was very nice. Well done. Thank you.
That Chabad...continues to enlighten people around the world...especially those who have always sought to destroy Jews and the Jewish state of Israel..Perhaps they too ..one day may want to preserve a heritage of good for their children in place of their tombstones and destroyed cities. If the war continues...there will be no one left to bless, exalt, and rever G-d.
Shalom Chaverim,
Since I started following your prestigious and prodigious site, I have found greater comfort in my life. Last week, thanks to you and HaShem, I was reunited with my brother, by email and phone. I sent him one of your Rosh HaShannah e-greetings. Just before Yom Tov, he sent me a similar Chabad greeting in response. I have since spoken with him twice. You have done what my late beloved Mom could only wish for and I thank you. May you continue to do only good and help others. I am fully connected to you and will continue to be just that. The studies are inspiring. G'mar Tov. Binnie Stein (Bina Devora bat Chaya Esther 'v Hersh Tzvi Yosef Leib).
Shanah Tovah. A humble note of gratitude for the Chassidic people.
KOL TOV V' HA TIMAH TOVAH.

A healthy happy and fantastic year to everybody in the world just be good and it will be good...we want moshiach now!
I wish G-d would find me a girlfriend. I'm tired of living a lonely, stupid life. I'm not picky. I just want a nice jewish girl. One my mother would like. No processed hair please. Someone to take me to Shabot services and help me learn Hebrew. After the holidays I'm going to ask my Rabbi to help me. In the meantime my homework is done so I'm going to the house and then to my meeting.
my wish is for Mesiah to come now
Its my wish that I can become a better person in all my endeavors. I want to get a job and do as good as I can. I want to quit smoking and train harder so I can be healthier physically. I want to get my own apartment and get off the streets. Most of all I want to study more Torah so I can observe more mitzvot. I want to be a better member of society.
thank u G-d for giving us ChaBa.D.
Lovely - mulitcultural, multigenerational sampling of people's best and beautiful wishes for our world as we open a new chapter, a new year. Rock on JEM! (and Chabad too of course, for all of their loving work in growing Judaism amongst Jews).
My wish is to sell my home and move to the counrty, raise Kosher fowl and study Hebrew; Kabbalah
Work at keeping the Jewish way of thinking
learn how to write
The query is "What would we wish from G-d?" Well, If a wish were a skiff, we'd all go sailing. However, I do hope for an end to murder. I think murder is the most offensive sin us humans commit. If we would only stop murduring , war as we know it would end. DARFOR,LEBANON, KOREA, IRAQ, AFGANISTAN, ISRAEL, CHINA, EUROPE..... MURDER .
I don't give thanks to him often enough and yet I am blessed. I wish for more happiness for myself and for all in the world, even to my enemies.
my wish is for all the jewish that live in all over the world, i hope that "Mashia'ah" will come soon and all the jewish will come home to israel.
If G-d would grant me one wish, it would be to have the means to touch every hurting child in the entire world with Hope and JOY. To take away every single pain in their little lives. And to have the opportunity to tell them it was G-d who really did this.
May you have a healthy, happy and sweet new year and may your new year be blessed by G-d himself! LaShannah Tova!
My prayer and wish is peace and prosperity to the World in general, Israel and Ethiopian in particular. My Almighty God fulfil it.
I hope and pray that our son be the best that he can be, throughout his life; that he lead a happy, healthy, wise, and prosperous life, full of sweetness, and goodness, his life imbued with meaning and wisdom. That he live with the precepts and commandments of Torah throughout his days, to know and follow its instructions for living; That he treat man in the same way in which he wishes to be. treated. I ask the Good Lord to protect our loving son from all evil, to guide him, and to bless him forever. I pray to the Good Lord to help and enable both his father and I and all those who love him to do all that is right and necessary to secure and maintain his best interests.
I wish for health and happiness for me, my family, my friends and for everyone in the world - whatever that may mean for them. Helath and happiness for every individual in whatever way it would mean for them to be healthy and happy.
La Shannah Tova le Coulam!
I wish for less debt so I could contribute more to organizations like Chabad! I also wish for the health and safety of my family.
my prayer is for all the Jewish people in the world to reach out to one another, invite the lonely , mingle, be together. my personal wishes for my famiyl is that we will grow strong inspite of the recent separation from the nonjewish father and his new family , i hope not to grow bitter in hate but learn to accept that the separation is necessary so i can have the wonderful jewish family, if only the children would be able to understand why we are still a family and even stronger , if only my son could understand how i am trying so hard to shelter him from the hurt his father has caused us all in many ways.. like the jewish people we grow strong when met with difficulties, it is the way things are. learn to accept that. to remain strong and stubborn not to let this man ruin our holiday spirit and our lives with his selfish ways, to hang on to our people even though sometimes they dont seem to want us around , to be strong, to have hope, to love one another and overcome difficult
Shalom for Israel. A Happy New Year.
Dear Friends, I wish you have a very happy Shanah Tovah.
I wish all of you, a Happy New year, full of peaceful expectations, and prompt resolve for the full recognition and acceptance of our homeland Israel, in the world map.
I wish for peace and happiness for the peoples of the earth. That there may be less stress and suffering and that the followers of Islam discover what their religion is truly doing to themselves and to others. That all people need to embrace tolerance for the sake of survival of civilization as we know it. Hopefully, it is not too late.
Thank you for helping me to do a mitzvah. Through your website I sent New Year's greetings to close relatives who have not spoken to me in years. My wish for the coming year is that they, and all people who have hurt or ill feelings, will be able to let these feelings go, and find true happiness.

A beautiful happy, peaceful New Year. World Peace !!! That is my wish...... Shana Tova !
I am a single divorced 51 yr old female disabled Vietnam Veteran. I'm housebound and in a wheelchair. I have to do Shabbot Prayers all by myself. I need a Jewish Man in my life to share Jewish Holidays and Events with. I need someone who can take me to Shul. I'm an excellent cook and I make some of the best Jewish Cuisine you could ever make. My family background is Russian Jew. I make Blinitzes, Challah Bread, and when I make Passover Seder Foods, nothing sits in my refrigerator for more than a day or two. I make potato, matzo, & spinach latkes, & they are delicious. My Charoses is soooo good that if it lasts for a 3rd day that's unusual. I am an excellent listener. I never invalidate nor evaluate someone elses ethics. Lol, are there any Kosher Pickles looking for a cute little knish? Please let me know. I'm tired and lonely and I'm tired of observing our faith alone. I want someone from 50 and up that can drive a car and has a buck in his pocket.
I wish that during the New Year people become more compassionate and caring toward each another.
We need nice people in this world!!
I Humbly Seek A New Large Print Chumash And Tanach Because All Of My Books Were Lost By Fire And Im A Disabled Veteran.
Dear Abdiel Yishrah Shalom, can I contribute to your wish? im a student and probably cannot afford a new library, but maybe a volume at a time could help you? all the best,
Shana Tova towards everybody. May G'd bless you all.
i don't know if my comment will fall on deaf ears, because this is the 119th comment, so who would read this one? but i'm writing it anyhow.
yes, this is a great video. it's alive, happy, bright, interesting, cute... etc. but, chabad.org, you've done better.
your other videos portray a deep, touching message. something that reaches every person's heart. when you walk away, you feel full and satisfied, almost as if you have just eaten a hot bowl of chicken soup. this video is not like that.
you recorded many different people to express their wishes and resolutions. some were very disconnected from our paths towards being true servants of G-d. "i want a new bike."
there are more effective ways of communicating the message that world peace is desperately wanted, the message that every single person out there is struggling in some way and the message that we are one in our prayers for world peace.
If it's meant to be, it starts with me... As a world famous statesman said: "Be the change you want to see in the world..." Think, act, breath, praise, yearn, work, love, learn, ... Live with Moshiach and Geulah - Now and Forever! Shana Tova U'Metukah, Bracha V'Hatzlocha, Kol Tuv, .....
Health, Happiness, and Wealth for everyone.
My wish is only health -for Me,my parents and my husband. And let God bless everyone around us.
that Israel is one in heart, mind, soul and that there is a "whole" Israel`s land nor taken nor borders removed - just as G-d has given unto us - and the coming of Mashiach.
L`shanah tovah,
If I had one wish granted by G-D I would ask him to eradicate extremist religious organisations and to show the world that they can live peacefully with the Jewish population around the world and to recognise Israel as the Jewsh home land. I Also wish for good health and prosperity for all my family and friends. Shana Tova U'Metukah.
I wish that everyone would believe in G-d. If we all listen to what G-d wants from us, we would be a lot better off. Torah is the answer. It guides us to a perfect life.
To Find an Employer in my area that will see that I get the day off for Shabbat and the High days and a Job that would be enjoyable to me and help me to provide for my family despite all my disabilities.
If God could grant me one thing, I'd ask for happiness, because no matter what your lot is in life, if you are happy, it doesn't matter.
to be more grateful for what i have the definition of a jew is one who thanks G-d for what he or she has that is my wish toda
My only wish is that the entire population of the world could learn to appreciate the miracle of being alive and that we are human beings! There are billions and billions of living creatures living in the world, but only a relatively handful of all the living beings are humans. If that isn’t a miracle, I give up trying to figure out what one is. If the entire world was happy and content there would be no fighting, no wars, no genocide, none of the terrible things that one group of humans can do to other human beings. Unfettered greed causes almost all the problems in the world. Hashem said not to covet what your neighbor has. Why? Because once you want what your neighbor has and you can’t get it, terrible things happen. When nations or groups of human beings want what others have, we have wars, genocide and disasters that are unfathomable. So my wish is that people can learn to be content with what they have and once that happens, we will have what we all want: World Peace.
B"H WISHING THE FAMILY OF ISRAEL GET TOGETHER FOR ROSH HASHANA AND WISHING PEACE FOR ALL

I wish for Peace in Israel that will help happen when McCain/Palin get elected. McCain and Palin are extememly pro-Jewish per IRIS--Stands for Regarding Israel's Security. They have been great on helping me understand the horrble problems in Israel. If I had two wishes, the second would be for total forgiveness.
Shalom,
I wish peace to the angry man at the gate of Helsinki Jewish Synagogue. He asked me why I com to the Helsinki Jewish Community? Some years ago I asked the Rabbi can I come? He replayed yes. I am interested to convert to judaism. ( Since 30 years ago). I felt me heavily not accepted by this angry man.
I am wishing that next jewish year will come Mashiah!!!!
It is easy to wish for world peace. It is easy to wish for a better economy. We all want that.
I want peace. Peace of mind. Peace in my heart and peace in my little corner of the world. Perhaps when I can achieve that, then I can spread that feeling further out.
If we solve the problems one at a time from the center out, by the time we get to the out, those problems will solve themselves.
Just one step at a time.
Jews become more accepting of each other while learning to remain true to themselves: in otherwords, to solve this conundrum of defining 'who is a Jew' among ourselves before the world does it for us.
i wish for my true love to be by my side and walk with me on this journey of life...a man who loves G-d with all of his heart and soul and mind and a m an who does not cheat and who makes me laugh when the milk spills because it always does
I want to have more of G-d in my life, be happier, have peace with all my people and love for my famili.

With love and trust in G-d, can we live with the fear of heaven and the love of our fellow men/women throughout the year 5769.
May G-d forever bless Yisrael, fairest of the nations! I, as a Gentile in the East forever attached to Israel, would also like to take the privilege to say: G-d bless the peace and prosperity of Israel and Jerusalem forever. G-d also bless the United States of America, bringer and protector of freedom and most compassionate of the nations, and the nations forever! Indeed, may G-d hasten the coming of the Mashiach of Israel and the nations, Amen and Amen and Amen.

Please add a prayer that my husband find a good job in Israel so he can move here with our tiny children and we can raise them in Jewish schools. He works in management of an outpatient mental health hospital in the US. We have been apart and he is eager to interview with anyone in Israel that has a similar job openning.
Dear Debra, Don't worry about the injections. There are alternative pain relief systems such as the Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation or TENS portable machines which give pain relief without drugs. Knee surgery should only ever be a last resort and you may find that Physiotherapy helps you. Also there is something called SAMe which you can get in the States very cheaply which has an anti-inflammatory effect and could be helpful for you. Ask your Physcian for advice. Good Luck

The L-rd has blessed me today as my ex-wife and our two precious, kind, decent, wonderful children were approved for their conversion! I am now the proud father of two Jewish girls, Sarah (12) and Kate (9) who will be attending yeshiva for the first time this fall thanks to the efforts, struggles, and determination of their newly Jewish mother. My wish is always for Moshiach...but a wish separate from that is that I can make the additional money needed to provide for their Torah life through the Yeshiva and to provide for all their needs...and so that I can give tzedeka to help build my community a new shule (with two nice, clean, hot mikvahs!), and to support the Hadorah Torah program.
I hope and pray that this coming year, G-d will bless my husband and me with our first child and will bless our marriage with renewed understanding and love. I pray that this year will usher in a new start for us, so that we can greet many happy new years to come!

What I wish for is for everyone (jew or non-jew) to live together in harmony and for G-d to send Moshiach and bring us all back home to Yerushalayim!!
I want nothing from G-d because my cup is overflowing as it is. It would be nice if G-d would work a miracle of some kind and take away the hatred and distrust that people have towards each other and place Torah in their hearts.
I wish improvement of my health. happiness of my friends, peace on earth, improved relation of Israel with its neighbors, prosperity of all nations in general ethiopia and israel in particular

I pray to G-d for personal forgiveness as well as forgiveness for all of Yisrael and the arrival of Moshiach, the rebuilding of the Beit Hamikdash. If not asking for too much, I pray our aliyah to Eretz Yisrael just after the beginning of 5770 is happy and healthy. I also want to wish the Jewish people Leshanah tovah tikateiv veteichateim "may you be inscribed and sealed for a good year." May the world find the peace that has eluded mankind for so long now and that we truly make the Holy One Blessed Be He by being a Light Unto the Nations and finally accomplishing Tikkun Olam. May my wife and family be Blessed with good health and happy lives. I pray G-d accepts my teshuva and that I continue to strive to be a better Jew as well as a better person. I wish that G-d will help me to become closer to Him in the coming year and that my wife and I continue to grow in our knowledge of Torah and do the best we can at leading Torah lives. I wish to thank G-d for the wonderful gift of Shabbat as well as His Torah.

my original wish was to complete my Conversion this year. But when I thought, what wish could I wish, if I knew G-d WOULD answer it?
I wished for end to all wars, Domestic and Foreign.
I wish for all of us, to have wisdom and understanding, and then every good deed will follow.
I pray to the lord that he restores my relationships. Also, that I be a positive asset in the community and in my family. Also, that he give me wisdom to make good decisions. I know that the lord has heard my requests. Amen.
My wish for this time is that GOD OUR LORD be more present in our daily life and of course in our hearts.
I wish to God I get married to my bashert boyfriend in 2010. My resolution is to keep the sabbath and increase my daily mitzvoth.

And personally, I pray that my Bashert and I marry quickly and are blessed with many healthy and righteous children. Amen.

...is that all jewish people will be gathered together and to be united in their hearts
I am new, and confused. I feel a strong pull to the Jewish faith, but am not Jewish. Perhaps it is my study of Hebrew.
For this year, I hope to listen and to learn what G-d wants me to do and if it is His will, to work toward studying for conversion. If that is not His will, I would like to encounter every day with joy.
please G-D make all the crippled people of the world able to walk again please g-d let it happen.

L'Shana Tova. My deepest and sincerest wish is that racism would disappear universally. That love and respect for ones fellow man could dominate our actions and thoughts. Then one and all could live harmoniously without the constant fear of attack from unknown forces. May G-d bring Peace, Good Health Happiness and Prosperity to All Mankind.
Inner peace and world peace for all the people I know and all the people I don't know.Shana Tova.

My wish is that human beings would recognize the vile betrayal we have committed to the animals of our world - Industrialized animal production, institutional research tortures animals from birth until brutal slaughter, never to touch to earth or see the sun, denied any touch of nature or feel the nuturing of their mothers. Open your hearts, animals are not tools or commodites for our pleasure. Love one another, and love the creatures of our world. Thats my wish.
My one wish to G-d is that my brother get cured from his diagnosis of cancer and that all the people in the world with this awful disease and other illnesses get well. No one should ever suffer when they are good people. I wish a Happy New Year to everyone.

health, wealth and spiritual growth and
understanding. and naturally peace in Isreal and a chabad center nearby. be safe and blessed,

it is my dream that we can all celebrate and honor human differences rather than be angry and fearful of eachother. all people are a family of man; g-d loves all his children. difference is a fiber in the tapestry of life. this new year is a new chance to embrace anyone who is in need, to include rather than exclude, to appreciate rather than depeciate others, especially ourselves...
for G-d to bring back his people to Israel. and also for me to marry a jewish women. thank G-d for the jews and thank you G-d for Israel. Shalom to all the jewish people all over the world. may G-d bring many blessings to you this year
IF G-d granted me one wish, though I have many wishes (as we all do). Mine would be that I have been battling a very long court case. I was left bankrupt and I had sued these people for them to pay me back, plus damages etc. I have PLEADED with the G-d for Him to get these people to pay me what they owe me plus all the pain, damage and loss they have caused me and my family. My wish for this year is that they pay me what they have robbed from me. Is that an OK wish? Shalom to all and have a very happy, healthy prosperous New Year! Shannah Tovah!
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
I wish everyone health, wealth, happiness and blessings.
I will pray for you, as a woman that I know borrowed money from me to be paid back, and interest free for one month and she has never paid me back one penny. It has now been over 8 months. I also sued and still fighting with the supervising Judge at court to bring me justice. I feel for you and your family and only pray that these horrible THIEFS don't get away with what they do to you, me and others. THey are living off of our hard earned money and they laugh and get away with it. We will be blessed by G-d.
I pray for a prosperous new year for you after you forgive who has stolen from you. It truly is not worth your being stressed over this. Let it go and God will honor that. I mean completely let it go. You will be blessed.......
I wish all Humanity to be written in the Book of Life, for that means we accept, honor, and cherish each other, and look after each other's welfare. It means we are at peace within ourselves and with the rest of Humanity. It means we strive to grow a better person each day, to walk in G-d's presence, know Him, and do His will. It means that we always remember we are made in G-d's image and likeness, and we must be just and holy, as our G-d and Father is just and holy. May this be the year in which we see true and enduring peace between Jews and our Arab brothers and sisters, may there be peace in Irak, Afghanistan, Colombia, Sudan, and every where. May we Humans finally and forever love each other. May G-d grant us this wish speedily in our days. And, may I have an extra tiny, tiny, little wish? May I have my own kitten, pleeease? A happy, healthy, and prosperous year to all. Shanah Tovah!!
I loved this video and I keep admiring how Chabad always comes with the best ideas to unify the world. Here we are getting greetings by jews and non jews, what an example of tolerance, respect and isn't it how Peace can be achieved!!!
Thank you so much and may all those wishes come true. Shana Tova!
That made me smile from ear to ear, all the way through!
Pray for peace between all of humanity. Pray for God's vindication for false accusation and lies that have come against me. That God would restore the years that the locust has eaten especially the salvation of my children and my finances. God's divine favor in our lives in our families and our jobs.
Fantastic film and really makes one think about life. We are all in this life together. I wish we could all be as loving, as the people in this film.
