Multiple awakenings
Thank you for this wonderful meditation. It can really help one be more mindful of their words in that one can easily fall prey to just going through the motions before rushing off for the day. What if one wakes several times during the night, would it then be customary to recite the Modeh Ani upon each awakening or even after an afternoon nap, else is such just for the initial morning awakening?

D, yerushalaim, israel
Excuse me, but I will attempt to give you an answer.
Just think on all good you have, instead of only the bad.
Remember the confort and warmness of your home; remember the good food, thank G-d, you have; remember the beautiful sunny day you can freely walk through; remember the blessing of your sight and of your brain and of your soul being able to share yourself with others in this moment... remember this all, and then think about the goodness of Him.

Part 1: Logging-on – Praise
The very idea of prayer is absurd--a tiny creature speaking with its Creator, like a figment of your imagination talking back to you. Once you accept that absurdity, you are ready to stand in the awe of prayer.
