Va’etchanan: Loving Lima Beans!

In this week's parshah, we find the commandment to love G-d with all our heart, soul and might.

The Torah contains many do’s and don’ts that dictate our daily behavior. Regardless, whether or not we understand and appreciate the meaning and relevance of the mitzvot, we can nonetheless incorporate them into our day-to-day lives; to simply go ahead and fulfill them.

But not so simple when it comes to an emotion. Is it possible to demand of someone to feel a certain way? To love something or someone that he or she may simply not love? Is it reasonable for the Torah to command us to not only obey G-d, but to actually love Him as well?

Join us for this week's Parshah Cast and discover what the commandment to love G-d is really all about.
