There is only one thing like the love of a mother for her child . . .

Malkie Citrin, I agree with you. Why the operating room filled with male masked surgeons? and why the pacifier, and why the bottle of formula? G-d put prolactin, "the love hormone," into a woman's body - it is released ONLY when she breastfeeds - not when she bottlefeeds or gives a pacifier. if G-d gave it to us, we must need it. Good luck and best wishes to all mothers and fathers - it's a hard and lifelong job, but with many rewards. Beautiful video, Chana.

My Mother past on June the 3rd 2011 at the age of 80.We shared all the stages in life. She was caring Mother until she turned into my Baby girl I had to care for.G-d blessed us with 34 years together. There is nothing that my Mom and I didn't do for each other. She will remain the best Mom ever. She got too sick that she couldnt eat or talk but we could still connect . True her love she never stopped smiling even oh her last days. She managed to tell me of the date that she was going to leave this world. Believe me it was the right date and she past on on that day. This shows the connection we are having. Now that she is gone I find it difficult to accept because she still comes into my dreams, guides me,calls me by name and we still do everything just like when she was still alive.Oh how I wish she could have lived forever. One thing l know is that she is now free from pain and suffering.Mah our love will never die.

Blessed are the mothers that keep and encourage their families to be righteous and pure. Blessed are the mothers whose families willingly fear, love and obey G-d. Blessed are the mothers that raise children on Torah, with love. Blessed are the mothers that provide familiy needs with love. Blessed are the mothers that care and help other mothers with love. Blessed are the mothers who prepare and keep heavenly homes. Blessed are the mothers that serve a stranger in need. Blessed are the mothers that source charity first from within the household then outward to the public.

There are times I feel I am the Mother of all children, of everyone. It's a profound feeling that comes over me at times. I have told this to my husband. I am not sure what this means, but I have had it, again and again.
I do know one thing about my life, and that is, it is massively synchronous in every possible way, and throughout my life I have had intimations of something more. Something has changed deeply, and I have never felt more cognizant of the presence of the Divine in my life, every step of the way.
If we are all part of that One soul, as explained by others on these pages, this would deeply ring true, of us all. I think we move in and out of what is separate and one, and to negotiate this takes a profound journey, of soul.

I pray to G-d that you receive a blessing that answers are revealed to you. My idea is look for a nighttime (after midnight) job where you will have privacy.

Hi Alistaire,
1. How about volunteering for a Jewish organisation, a charity or enquiring at Chabad for any type of work. Many people start off volunteering for a little while, and then when the employer sees how well they are doing, they get offered or can ask for paid employment.
2. Perhaps you could ask your local Rabbi, your synagouge, and go to the local library/ job centre and enquire about any governement training programmes.
Also, with Facebook nowdays, you can send a group message to everyone you know, and ask them to let you know if they can help you.
3. If you have any friends or contacts who own a business, ask them if you could volunteer / have work experience with them, which will look good on your CV, and perhaps your friend would even offer you a job.
4. Finally, write up a good CV and cover letter and ask a friend who is a successful businessman to check the CV.
Warm Regards,

I lost my husband at a young age.I was left with three children to raise by myself. With my love and care they have grown into responsible parents themselves. My grand children are a blessing and with G-d's help I go forward with my life always thinking of my husband.
|
I also lost my mother prematurely and miss her so much. It is a comfort to know she is with g-d waiting for me. My son is bipolar and slipping into the wrong direction in life. He is 26 and helping him out of his bad choices has made him worse. I have to do the tough love method and it is very painful . There are no support groups for family of bipolar people in my area. Any suggestions.
