To BGoldman:
There is a Talmudic rule, "every turn that you take should be toward the right." When we light the right candle on the first night, and then each night light toward the right, we are in accordance with this custom.

thank you so much for this site I live in Tx and do not have any place to go to worship and celebrate the feasts and festivals so I heavily rely on what I can find online Thanks again

I wish the light from the menora with spread to all good people in the world also to the meeting in Copenhagen for a better new world.
