Duplicity (the belief of good/bad, right/wrong) is a belief system of this physical dimension. You can't eliminate it. Like you can't eliminate the other 9 (there are 10) belief systems. You can assimilate them and that will neutralise their affectedness. The 10 belief systems are duplicity, emotion, sexuality (duality), relationships, science, physical creation of the universe (incl. accidents and coincidences), perception, the senses, religion (spiritual), truth.

The Minchas Elazar write, in his sefer Divre Torah vol 9, chapter 89, that the Baal Shem Tov did permanently banish shedim from populated areas.
You can find the sefer on hebrewbooks.org

The Devil (HaSatan) is a word that comes from the word "diabolos" that means false accuser. It is not a person but a description of one who falsely accuses another of being or doing something that he may or may not be being or doing. The false accusations we hear a lot in gossip, political arenas and domestic arguing. Can we rid ourselves of this diabolos? Yes, if you stop before you say anything about anyone.

Is it me, or have us humans given the adversary WAAAAAY to much airtime? Is it a way for us to deflect our shortcomings onto a seperate entity? Or is the adversary really that powerful that we, with free will, cannot help but be swayed? Let me know your opinions.

Thank you for this teaching. Evil is like a double edged sword. On one side there is that inclination within us to sin which is raw and vulnerable and on the other is the deceiver who first tempts us and then accuses us before God. We need the Messiah!

The rabbi made the comment that it says in Torah that when Messiah comes, pork will be made kosher. Can someone kindly point me to that Torah reference? Thank you!

If you read Job in Tanakh you will read about how Satan talked to God about Job and how God protected Job... Read and you will see what happened.

I'm not a Jew nor a Christian, but the fact remains that no-one has, apparently, ever reported 'seeing' or 'interacting' with a single independent being so named. This gives evidence to the idea that such an external being, perhaps, does not exist. (Notwithstanding evidence of G-d's existence at Sinai) To believe G-d is to admit G-d is alone in his power, and that disqualifies the existence of any force of good or evil of his caliber in the person of a satan. It would be idolatry to believe there is a demi-god who can compete with the one true G-d. The belief here is that satan is simply the evil inclination (within) that has been idolized into a separate existence.
