To Rabbi Lazer Gurkow

First, thank you for your wonderful classes. I am intrigued by and would like to know more about the lives of Rebbi Meier and Beruriah. How old were their sons upon their deaths? Do we know anything else about their deaths besides the fact that one of the sons came home with a headache that Shabbos day? I'd also like to know if Rebbi Meir and Beruriah were they wealthy or poor. Did they live simply? It would seem that the gold coins Beruriah gave to R' Meir to save her sister speak of wealth. However, the three selahs he earned daily as a sofer speak of poverty. I would be very grateful if you could answer these questions. Thank you.
