TV & Ki Teitzei
Rabbi Bell!

We had a wonderful family discussion yesterday of how Shoftim can be interpreted for us as individuals while watching TV. Nutshell: "Watch what you are watching". Use Torah to watch or "Judge" what comes in via the gates of your eyes and ears. Look away and even flip the channel if necessary. I call that TV Rule #1.

Now your excellent nutshell on Ki Teitzei:
Use Torah to protect your soul from falling deeper. If ya gotta watch TV... Remember this is only TV. Limit your emotional involvement and viewing time. I'll call that TV Rule #2.

Thanks for a wonderful 5 minutes!
