Amazing Thought.

Could this also be telling us to do all mitzvot but going beyond the mitzvot. Because even though Abram did not get the command from G-d he went beyond and did all those mitzvot on his own. Is this not also a "command" that we go above and beyond the mitzvot given to us as a way to "Lech-Lecha" (or heighten ourselves)?

Just a freight train of a thought that hit me while you amazingly interpreted this text.
