Sin?
I've studied this subject well - and I believe that the Talmud clearly states - "he who says that Dovid sins - is making a mistake"

G-d forbid to say that dovid sinned - the Rebbe explains that Cheit (sin in Hebrew) comes from the same lashon as Chisaron (lacking).

Who are we to say that Dovid sinned?

Yes he did Teshuva for what he did - but it wasn't a sin.

I think we should be more careful in the words we use when discussing the story of Dovid and Batsheva.

Dovid Melech Yisrael Chai V'kayam!

Aside from that, i really enjoyed the lecture. Thanks!

The Power of Repentance
Thank you very much for sharing some of the virtues of King David. I went on the internet to find out more about King David after a revealing conversation with my sister in law and husband. Thank you and God's richest blessings on you and your family.

Todah Rabah!
I just want to post a THANK YOU to Chabad.org and an even Bigger THANK YOU to all the teachers and Rabbis that take the time everyday to offer these amazing audio classes. It is such an important vessal for me in learning everything about being Jewish and the history of our people. My home was a Conservative Jewish upbringing, now I find myself living in Miami Beach, where most are Orthodox. It makes it a bit awkward for me to learn in the Chabads so Chabad.org is a great source of inspiration and Spirituality for me.
Thank you again!

Amazing Lecture
This is by far one of the best, if not the best lecture I've heard yet on any subject within Judaism. Rav Aryeh has an amazing voice that speaks clearly, yet powerfully, and keeps me interested the whole time. I like how he keeps to the simple meaning...and doesn't get all esoteric. It is nice to hear the simple explanation of the life of our great king.

King David's life and environment
Thank you very much for this little lecture. There are amazing facts that I was not knowledgeable of. Both very educating and edifying.

I am now motivated to go through everything that this website can offer in terms of the bible study :)
