G-d forbid to say that dovid sinned - the Rebbe explains that Cheit (sin in Hebrew) comes from the same lashon as Chisaron (lacking).
Who are we to say that Dovid sinned?
Yes he did Teshuva for what he did - but it wasn't a sin.
I think we should be more careful in the words we use when discussing the story of Dovid and Batsheva.
