soul Dear Rabbi

Thank you for an interesting discussion on Shabbat. Kindly clarify where do you get your information on the definition and explanation of the soul from the Tanak or Torah... I cannot find the justification of what you said in Hashem's written Word so do mention your references.

Also, in a world where malls rule and rein, encouraging night shopping and consumerism every single day of the week, how would you suggest one a Jewish Believer keeps Shabbat?

Very often I am scheduled to work Friday nights and all of Saturday. The other ladies who are Jewish who work there schedule themselves in for Shabbos but I cannot because I am new. What should or could I do to have Shabbat?

Yours sincerely

Made Shabbos even more wonderful Rabbi Krasnianski made my understanding of Shabbos even clearer. I never thought about how creative self comes away from our soul. I always thought everything we do is from our soul. Coming back to our core and being Hashem's pure light is amazing to me as I though He Hid Himself in our world with just a little light. Knowing that even eating on Shabbos itself is a mitzvah is a beautiful thing. Thank you for explaining and enhancing my Shabbos experience as a Jewish woman becoming a returnee to Judaism. Reply
