why
If Dina did her job bringing holiness to the outside world why did it need to be done in such an aggressive way like being violated.......it is not an inspiring scenario that encourages to go out and expose holiness even in a modest fashion...

Dina
The teaching was brought over beautifully and powerfully. Thank you.

I have always had a problem as to why Dina had to suffer for Yaakov's punishment in not giving her to Eisav - after all she was the one assaulted.

And going further back - why wasn't Leah herself not punished for praying to marry Yaakov rather than praying to be able to reform Eisav, if she had that outgoing gene that was passed on to Dina? It could have been used by her and all in theory could have been 'fixed' a generation back....

Dinah
Thank you for this teaching it has given me peace in the place I find myself at this point in time and I believe it elevates me to see that the plan is in place for the redemption of the world.

Dinah
This lesson on Dinah is absolutely one of the best Jewish lectures I have EVER heard. Absolutely fascinating. I can see her as a person now, and I like this Dinah very much.

Dissertation on Dinah
This is a powerful lecture! Especially interesting with regard to why we are called Am Yisrael rather than Am Avraham and also the issues of Tzaddiks and Ba'al T'shuva. Toda Raba!!

What A Woman Can Do
Thank you for the excellent teaching on What Women Can Do. I want to incorporate the essence of this teaching in my everyday life daily.
I am a teacher at a youth correctional facility. Many time each day I realize the dynamic personal effect I have on the students I encounter each day. But I pray I can further incorporate the essence of your teaching into my every day encounters with them and others. Espically the lesson of not speaking disparingly of others. Be positive.
Again, thank you.

Vayishlach - What A Woman Can Do
“And Dinah the daughter of Leah who was born to Jacob went out to see the daughters of the land.” Rashi explains “The daughter of Leah”, similar to Leah; she went out and left the house. Why the negative explanation?
