Correction
I've learned that what you said, about Bar Kochbah not being Moshiach because he "died" isn't correct. It was because he was "killed," which is the wording of the Rambam. And, of course, that is one of the MANY reasons that Jesus can't be Moshiach...

Moshiach coming on a donkey
Is it possible that Moshiach coming on a donkey as a natural event and the Moshiach arriving in the clouds are both true actual events? Did the Moshiach coming on a donkey happen about 2000 years ago, and is the Moshiach arriving in the clouds an event which the world is now waiting for? War is certainly universal and not be able to pinpoint the center of the conflict. Are we today in the end times as predicted by the prophets?

Moshiach
Shall not the Moshiach establish the Torah as the Law of the Land in Israel? And shall he not only gather the Jews back to the land but also the rest of the House of Israel and the Torah observant Gentiles?

question
The rabbi said that the end of history will be the year 6000 (which is the year mashiach will come). my question is, i thought we do not know the "last" year, we cannot predict, so why was there a prediction?
