Is it possible that the act of circumcision is to also express a distinction between man and animal whereas, the animal is born and remains in the form and likeness of his birth but, a circumcised man is now in a state of distinction, that this act acknowledges to the world, that he recognizes that he is not an animal and therefore, has a higher calling a responsibility to the world? I am stating my question simplistically because of this format. This thought opens up many other considerations, that would be too lenghty for this comment board.
