I would ask the children to help me clean up. The model cleaning up, whether they help me or not.

Next time before dinner, i'd ask the again. The after dinner I'd ask them to help again.

In other ocassions I'd remind them of what i did, and go on to say if you want me to help you, i need you to help me.

And so forth. Looking for opportunities to model and teach. Reply

Thanks. Good advice. I have never had children yet or been in a relationship with a woman who had a child and been in the role of a step father, but your teachings are helping me to prepare for the role of marrying and raising children. G-d willing, one day. Thanks Shimon. I hope to follow your wise words and instruction. You must be a good father. It probably won´t happen here in Spain though but better in an English speaking country.. Israel would be a big challenge since Hebrew is so new to me. Children are the future and need strong roots to grow. Reply
