Critically commenting on our comments. We tend to ineptly comment more about the cantor and the holy song, when in fact we should be applying all our wondrous amazement ,focus and energy with the glory on Holiest Ha-Shem , the most High. After all ,did Ha-Shem not create all cantors, persons and songs, so that we might please Him ,and then thank our fellow man ???

I don't read the transliteration well. Do you have the words to the songs printed in Hebrew? I have been teaching Bar ant Bat MItzvah children for many years. I think I am too old to learn how to read transliteration at this time in my life .help.

Being in Hong Kong far from home. to be able to touch some sweet love brings tears to the eyes and tenderly massages the heart.

Catholic Liturgical music especially liturgical chants are very beautiful and of course old worldly.
The singer is Avraham Fried and he lives in Brooklyn and has concerts all the time around. You can probably see him sining on you-tube.

When there are tears in the eyes, there are no words. I have heard this song from Barbara Streisand and there was the same feeling again, Thank you for uploading these ... sweet touching

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. Apropriately and with incumbency, i must take this opportunity to also applaud Chabad for their dedicated good works, aimed at restoring & saving the lost, both Jew and non-Jew. The Rabbi's bottomless generosity, of unlimited stories and lessons make us all better, more frum and truly G_d loving-fearing folk. Verily, verily verily it is not just this song but all of Judaism that captivates my mind and soul which i adopt, adore and zealously accept as Truth. Judaism are my deepest roots and Christianity... my wings. With Chabads erudite Biblical & Torah, etc. knowledge; it enlightens me as a lay preacher, i feel empowered & able to separate the chaff from the wheat. To give more Light to many unsaved & biased folk, esp beginning with G_d and Moses at Mt Sion. In truth, to love G_d with all your being, one must first accede to be a righteous, mature & sage Jew. Then is one justified to discern & grow more spiritually eg understanding Kabballah.

Mark, It gives me such pleasure to know that not only Jews are moved by this song..the musical arrangement...and singer...but non/jews as well.

How beautiful the celestial song, such refined & apt words, how necessary the song; that cries with love and awe up to G-d. It envelopes the soul with the mystique of Torah. The song is hypnotic, supernal and transcending, it sends shrills through the body which seem to connect us with heaven and reaches the feet of G-d's sacred Omnipresence. I never tire of it; it energises me and washes my sins froim my eyes, whilst joyfully i hum & sing it all day long, esp. after i have heard it play. I wish us Christians had such a powerful and extraordinarily beautiful similar song, too. In truth, when its sung in Hebrew it's strength, beauty and meaning are unparalleled.

While listening to this medley, I feel I am dancing with G-d. It takes you right there. Heavenly.
