One of Judaism’s greatest compendiums of mysticism, the Zohar is a collection of several sections including short midrashic statements, longer homilies, and discussions on many topics. Most of them are the teachings of the Mishnaic sage, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, and his close colleagues.
