beautiful commentaries
in some things we can agree to disagree but on the whole I want to thank you for so much that is teaching by way of example.

I see we are all aspects of Divinity and our task is to determine which words out of the many and myriad speak truly for G-d. We need to separare that golden wheat from the chaff as dud Ruth in the fields, in those corners designated for the poor and hungry as was our custom. G-d speaks through us all. It is All G-d and in issues of ethics not black nor white we are expected to use our gray matter to decide as best we can with angst.

I am leaving Chabad. Thank you for allowing my voice to become emergent. We learn through each other about LOVE in this most cosmic dance we do wirh each other.

The task ia always to determine who truly speaks for G-d.

rachel's interceding
There is something about a mother's plea for her child (or children) that bears great merit. G-d is the Creator of every being, regardless whether they acknowledge Him or not. And for every human being, (except for Adam and Eve) there is (or was) a mother giving birth and I like to think that G-d took that into great consideration when Rachel interceded. Thank you for sharing such thought provoking details.

The presentation of the lecture and the participation of the other women at the table was excellent. Rachel is a very beautiful woman full of courage. I enjoyed it and the explanation given by Chana. Many thanks

Compliment
Dear Mrs Weisberg
One of your pupils read this sentence "so that she should be a help for her children when Nebuzaradan will exile them" incorrectly. Yet you did not say a word. What a beautiful lesson in bein odom lechaveiro.
May many learn from you.

where I have to stop listening
this has to do with a Mother and how no Mother, would, stand for a G_d who demands blind obedience, as in, The Akeda.

It seems that religious, Orthodox, Jews, some, feel it is fine to make allowances for G_d, whatever G_d demands, and I feel NO, that's not the meaning within meaning. It's essential to question authority. it's essential to question our own Fathers if they abuse us, and anyone, and as G_d is the Supreme Father it's essential to question this. Why? Because this isn't love. This isn't a test of obedience. In asking for the imponderable, I honestly believe G_d wants refusal, and it is compassion that is the key here.

When people were murdered in Vietnam by our soldiers, as at Mylai, because they were "following a superior's order" this was vehemently and absolutely wrong.

Even G_d should not violate the Commandments. There is a paradox here that can be resolved in looking at what's wrong, in the name of LOVE itself.

I can say, I speak for G_d in this. I KNOW I am right.

Chana, I love your teachings. You are a great teacher. When you asked how do we get the power to believe in Hashem in truth, it is by His Precious Spirit. His amazing Essence gives us the trust. I know this because of the things that have been happening in my life. When I seek His precious presence, I find Him in Strength. And this is such an overwhelming love that is undescribable. As a mother, I thought that my child was the greatest love I ever felt, but now I have found out that the Love of G-d surpasses all other love and desires.
Thank you so much Chana for this precious moment I can spend with you and the others at the table. This moment is such a blessing. May Hashem keep on blessing you with this precious gift of teaching.
