the rabbi as a student, i enjoyed listening and learning very much. as an educator, had the rabbi not looked at his watch as much as he did, i'd have felt less distracted. Reply

Thank You Rabbi Gordon I really did not know about the Bar Kokhba Rebellion and it's massacre. I hate to say, but I really enjoyed your shiur. I learned a lot of history and it helped me feel what Tisha B"Av is really and why. ( I knew a lot of it, but a lot of what you said I had not known. I also live far away from a shul, and this opportunity is very well appreciated. Reply

יישר כח רב גורדון!
I listened to your shiur and the time was flying.
The topic is heavy and yet, your sense of humor added to the general feeling of not loosing hope.
May we live to see the geula במהרה בימינו and this day will be a מועד. א
Thank you for your uplifting shout. Reply

The destruction Although the lesson about destruction was so distressing, I loved the teachings, I loved the way they were delivered, and, above all, I loved this endearing rabi. Yehoshua B. Gordon. He's a real 'chou-chou' Toda meod, meod! -Teresa Reply
