Rabbi Mendel Kaplan is the founder and spiritual leader of Chabad @ Flamingo in Thornhill, Ontario, he also serves as a Chaplain of the York Regional Police Service.
Michael Kigel is the producer of Passages and Messages, two weekly television shows entering their eleventh year of broadcast on CTS (Canada). He is also the Dean of the Jewish Leadership Program at the Lauder Business School in Vienna.

The ladies had strong arguments.
The gain after the fall is explained in Tanya at the emotional level that feelings are stronger after mending differences than if there were no differences in the first place.
When true lovers go thru a cold period, and then honestly forgive and make up, their new bond is much stronger.
The Midrash (?) says that Yaakov & Rachel didn't merit children until Yaakov became upset with Rachel...
When a Tzadik falls a step or two from his love level (which is way above what we can perceive) with Hashem, s/he is overcome with true humility which catapults him to a newer level of love and "zehirut" (scrupulousness) with mitzvot.
