This is the best torah class I've ever had (between the handout and the lecture)...online or otherwise.
Thank you for a job well done. I look forward to the other ones.

Thank you for your kind words.
The term Noahide Law is usually used to refer to the seven universal laws that the Torah teaches apply to all of humanity. You can find more information here.
The Torah does not give us a clear reason for the wool & linen prohibition. In fact, it is used as an example of a mitzvah which we perform simply because G-d tells us to, not because we comprehend it. There are some mystical explanations given, you can learn more about them here.

Rabbi Shaffer, this is the second time I watch this video. And also took a copy of the handout.
I have a question. What is the Noahide Law? I thought this was the Oral Torah before Torah was given to Moshe Aveinu in the desert. Obviously, I was very wrong..
Could you give me a quick response?
Thank you so much for your teachings. I am really enjoying this class.
Blessings

Your hour long session was absolutely great. I enjoyed learning at home helped by the easy to follow hand-outs that I printed. I am looking forward to Part 2 and expanding my knowledge. why can't linen and wool be mixed?

Now I know what is Mishna, Gemara, and Talmud. The sample texts from Mishna are very meaningful to get know of Mishna and Difinitions in the end of the texts are very helpful.

Wonderful teaching! Just what I wanted to learn with my Rabbi! It was a little fast for me because I purchase the Mishnah (hope I have the right one), and could not follow through so quickly. But it gave me a total idea of the teachings.
Are we to continue with these studies of the Mishnah? It would a great thing to do!!
It was my pleasure to meet you Rabbi Shaffer through this media. Hope to see you again.
P.S. I will try to get copies of the handouts to follow through with my Mishnah at home. I am soo happy that you could never imagine!

So as G-d gave the world all it's needs. So did He give instructions on how to maintain His creation. So the fruit may be served as a gesture of good will and unity for all that which He created. The Blessings from G-d are for what He has already done for us in our lives with His breath.
