"Reveal Yourself and spread, my Beloved, over me Your shelter of peace. May the earth be illuminated by Your glory. Let us be glad and rejoice in Your majesty. Hasten, beloved, for the time has come, and favor us as in the days of old."

Final paragraph of Yedid-Nefesh, recited at the afternoon prayers on Friday afternoon

Musical Notes

This melody is one of the few cantorial recitative motifs, sung by the Chabad disciples. This beautifully stirring melody gives vent to the feelings of craving, request for mercy and absolute faith in the immediate redemption, as brought forth in the words of "Higole No" -- Reveal Yourself.

the meaning of this song
Does Yedid Nefesh have anything to do with Deveikus and Klos Hanefesh (longing to cleave to G-d) as discussed in Tanya Chapter 50?
I noticed that some of the words in Yedid Nefesh also show up in Tanya chapter 50.
