Uforatzto

A happy marching song , evidencing an unfaltering purpose to spread the light of the Torah throughout the world. In 1958 the Rebbe reminded his followers of the Baal Shem Tov's injunction: "Let the fountains of Chassidism flow forth throughout the universe" and instructed them to implement it without regard to obstacles or hardships. He suggested that the the text of Uforazto, which expressed the same thought, to a suitable melody. This stirring march was selected and has since become a favorite with the Chassidim at their periodic gatherings with the Rebbe.
