RE: Day one of 339
The concept of there being 248 limbs in a person's body is found in the Mishnah (Ahalot 1:8). Now, the criteria there is not quite the same as seen by modern medicine. For example, each finger of the hand is seen to contain 6 "limbs."

In using the word "limb" in English do you mean all the separate bones in the body and the muscles and tissue that connnect it?
