The Rebbe
there was and is no one like the Rebbe. To mean such ahavas yisroel with his entire holy heart, to have such a burning love for each and every Jew in the world, is only a quality of the true leader of the generation!!!!!!

this is great man! he has love for all people!
he never ever has a bad word to say about anyone. he came to springfield mass in the early 50s??? he my knew my great grandfather, grandfather and my currently teaches my father, he built a hebrew day school and has a wonderful family!

Rabbi Dovid Edelman was a student at 770 during the 1940s. One night, the Rebbe came out from the study of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe, with a fundamental lesson in loving one’s fellow Jew.  (2:45)

The Alter Rebbe once opened the window and saw a large crowd assembling, expecting a Farbrengen. He shut the window and wanted to hide. His wife, Rebbetzin Sterna, asked what was the matter. “A large crowd is gathering! What do they want from me? What do I have to offer them?” The Rebbetzin responded, “They want to know what you heard from your Rebbe.” “In that case,” the Alter Rebbe exclaimed, “I will teach them and teach them…”
