24 Elul, 5749 • September 24, 1989 Professor Yisroel Hochberg presents to the Rebbe a small box which had belonged to the Alter Rebbe. The Rebbe says: “You are a professor, and that is very important! May the Alter Rebbe’s merit stand you in good stead to fulfill all the Alter Rebbe’s teachings of Jewish law, and may you raise your children as true ‘professor’s children.’”
