As the Jewish people need Torah to survive, that is the reason why our enemies tried to destroy its teachings so many times through the ages. But Hashem, blessed be He, in His Infinite Mercy have always kept a remnant so that the world would be saved. What a wonderful teaching. My name was margarita, I hated it because most people would say to me when they asked my name, "oh like the drink." Therefore, I hated it. Someone from Israel told me that that name in Hebrew was marganet. When I changed my name to Rut, I left margot as my middle name. Do not know why. I am still not satisfy with it, but because of my family I left it because that is how they called me. But as I hear your teachings, seems like it was not my decision only, but our Creator had something to do with this transformation. He had given me His precious name 25 years ago when I didn't even know the meaning of it. Your teaching have brought light to me today. Thank you Rabbi Raskin.
