Getting Into the Grind

Knowing you're here with a purpose certainly makes a lot more sense of life. Provides fuel to keep going, as well.

Like when you see how tough it gets to move ahead and accomplish just one good thing. If you didn't realize what's going on, you might give up pretty fast. But when you think of yourself as an agent with a mission to repair and heal the world, you say, "Hey, there's something major in the way over here! We're taking on a big one now!" After all, the more resistance, the more you must be accomplishing.

That's the idea of the sandpaper. One thing that sandpaper knows for sure--if life is going too easy, it's not accomplishing a thing.

Teshuvah elevated
I learned a lot of chassidus, including very much about the advantage of teshuvah, but still felt unsatisfied - it seemed unfair, notwithstanding the advantages of teshuvah, that some need to go down that path.

After watching this clip, my questions were answered. Yasher koach.

Sandpaper needed!
The reminder encourages me to rededicate myself at hand instead of giving up.

Kabbalatoons
I love that this is delivered in a child friendly manner. Even at 57 years old, I respond to that delivery.

Thanks so much for such a delightful packaging of deep chassidic thought.

Thanks, I needed that!
So true, so needed. The process is not always fun, but the results are priceless!

Uncomfortable Blessings
I love these Kabbala lessons, and the episode today was particularly helpful. It would seem to be so much easier to simply accept the world's troubles as inevitable and glide along through life saying yes to the status quo. There are real risks and consequences involved in actively embracing Tikkun Olam as a path, and being part of the healing of our world is neither a passive nor a simple process, yet it is essential. Thank you for this marvelous lesson.

Wow! Very deep!
Thank you! You deal with such real issues with such brilliance!
I think there is a problem with the numbering of the episodes, because somehow I seem to miss one (and luckily check the previous one just in case..)
Thanks again!
