Send Condolence Letters to the Ramon Family

By the Grace of G-d

Dear Friends,

As you can well imagine, the words of each and every one of us can make an important difference to the Ramon family in their time of mourning.

Rabbi Zvi Konikov, Director Chabad Lubavitch of the Space Coast and close personal friend of Ilan and the Ramon family, will be visiting with the family and has agreed to pass your letters on directly to the Ramon family.

Please click here to write your letter of condolence to the entire Ramon family. If you'd like to address a particular member of the family, please specify that in your email as well:

The Ramon Family:
  • Ilan's widow, Rona
  • Ilan's son Assaf (14)
  • Ilan's son Tal (12)
  • Ilan's son Yiftach (9)
  • Ilan's daughter Noa (5)
  • Ilan's Parents and siblings

Parents: Please encourage your children to write to Ilan's children!

May the Almighty comfort the Ramon family among the mourners of Zion and may they and all of us know only happiness and joy all the days of our lives.

Sincerely,

The Chabad.org Staff

Challenger
I rember it distinctly. I was sitting there, in U.S History II, when our principal walked in and said, "I have an anouncement to make to the class. The space shuttle Challenger has just explodied over Florida!" I rember the anguish I felt over the setback in cilvian space flight that would follow. But then I realized that one of the first responsibilities that G-d gave to man was to name all of his creation. And though I know that I am showing my dual up-bringing, I would offer you the words; take heart in the fact that He was fulfilling one of the first mitzvah. One that G-d gave to all men.
