1. Shabbat Day

Shabbat, of course, is not just Friday night. It embraces 25-plus hours from sunset on Friday evening to nightfall on Saturday night--twenty-five hours of peace, tranquility and holiness that are captured and channeled with rituals and observances of Shabbat.

Shabbat day's primary observances include: Shabbat morning prayers, the weekly Torah reading, Kiddush and daytime meal, Shabbat rest, learning, and the Third Meal.
