Daily Dose of Wisdom

Re-uniting

When Man and Woman were first formed, they were a single being. And then G-d divided them apart, so that they could achieve a higher union.

Why is it higher?

Because now it is through their own struggle. That is true oneness: When two choose to be one.

Re: Who is your soulmate?
You may never truly know in this lifetime who is your real soulmate. Whoever you are married to, invest in that person with the confidence that this is the one, and whatever you are investing, you are investing in your own self.

If that has already disintegrated and now you are remarried, then invest that same confidence and even more in this new marriage. The Ari taught that sometimes a person can only merit to find his or her true soulmate after first marrying someone else.

married more then once!
Who is truly your soul mate when people marry more then once? Is going to the court house and signing a paper mean that a person is married in the eyes of G-d? What Makes a soul mate a soul mate?

Re-uniting
What a beautiful analogy! Especially when He stated to Adam, that the son should leave his mother and father and the two shall become one! I never looked at this before, in fact, so true, they were one from the beginning, then He separated them and made them two, and now they have to be one again! Amazing! Beautiful! Thank you!
