Tehillim - Psalms - Chapter 148


Chapter 148

1. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise Him in the heights.   א.
2. Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts.   ב.
3. Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all stars of the night.   ג.
4. Praise Him, highest heavens and the water that is above the heavens.   ד.
5. They shall praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created.   ה.
6. And He set them up to eternity, yea forever, He issued a decree, which will not change.   ו.
7. Praise the Lord from the earth, sea monsters and all deeps.   ז.
8. Fire and hail, snow and vapor, a storm wind, performing His word.   ח.
9. The mountains and all the hills, fruit trees and all cedars.   ט.
10. Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl.   י.
11. Kings of the earth and all kingdoms, princes and all judges of the earth.   יא.
12. Youths and also maidens, old men with young boys,   יב.
13. Will praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is powerful; His splendor is on earth and heaven.   יג.
14. He raised up a horn for His people, praise to all His pious ones, to the children of Israel, the people close to Him. Hallelujah!   יד.
