1. Praise the Lord, all nations, laud Him, all peoples.		א. הַלְלוּ אֶת יְהֹוָה כָּל גּוֹיִם שַׁבְּחוּהוּ כָּל הָאֻמִּים:
2. For His kindness has overwhelmed us, and the truth of the Lord is eternal. Hallelujah!		ב. כִּי גָבַר עָלֵינוּ \| חַסְדּוֹ וֶאֱמֶת יְהֹוָה לְעוֹלָם הַלְלוּיָהּ:
For His kindness has overwhelmed us: That is to say: and surely we [must praise Him], for His kindness has overwhelmed us.
and the truth of the Lord is eternal: For He kept His promise that He promised the Patriarchs.
