Rashi's Commentary:

Chapter 98

1. A song. Sing to the Lord a new song, for He performed wonders; His right hand and His holy arm have saved Him.   א. מִזְמוֹר שִׁירוּ לַיהֹוָה | שִׁיר חָדָשׁ כִּי נִפְלָאוֹת עָשָׂה הוֹשִׁיעָה לּוֹ יְמִינוֹ וּזְרוֹעַ קָדְשׁוֹ:
Sing to the Lord: All these are for the future.  
2. The Lord has made known His salvation; to the eyes of the nations He has revealed His righteousness.   ב. הוֹדִיעַ יְהֹוָה יְשׁוּעָתוֹ לְעֵינֵי הַגּוֹיִם גִּלָּה צִדְקָתוֹ:
3. He remembered His kindness and His faith to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.   ג. זָכַר חַסְדּוֹ | וֶאֱמוּנָתוֹ לְבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל רָאוּ כָל אַפְסֵי אָרֶץ אֵת יְשׁוּעַת אֱלֹהֵינוּ:
4. Shout to the Lord, all the earth, open [your mouths] and sing praises and play music.   ד. הָרִיעוּ לַיהֹוָה כָּל הָאָרֶץ פִּצְחוּ וְרַנְּנוּ וְזַמֵּרוּ:
5. Play to the Lord with a harp, with a harp and a voice of song.   ה. זַמְּרוּ לַיהֹוָה בְּכִנּוֹר בְּכִנּוֹר וְקוֹל זִמְרָה:
6. With trumpets and the sound of a shofar, raise your voices before the King, the Lord.   ו. בַּחֲצֹצְרוֹת וְקוֹל שׁוֹפָר הָרִיעוּ לִפְנֵי | הַמֶּלֶךְ יְהֹוָה:
7. The sea and the fullness thereof will roar, the inhabited world and the inhabitants thereof.   ז. יִרְעַם הַיָּם וּמְלֹאוֹ תֵּבֵל וְישְׁבֵי בָהּ:
8. Rivers will clap hands; together mountains will sing praises.   ח. נְהָרוֹת יִמְחֲאוּ כָף יַחַד הָרִים יְרַנֵּנוּ:
Rivers will clap hands: The prophets spoke in a language that the ear can hear; not that the rivers have a hand, but it is an expression of joy and gladness.  
9. Before the Lord, for He has come to judge the earth; He will judge the inhabited world justly and the peoples with equity.   ט. לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה כִּי בָא לִשְׁפֹּט הָאָרֶץ יִשְׁפֹּט תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק וְעַמִּים בְּמֵישָׁרִים:
