Apple Kugel


  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 6 tart apples, peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup raisins, optional

Combine eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and oil. Stir in flour and baking powder. Fold in sliced apples and raisins.

Pour into a well-greased 9x13- inch pan and bake in a 350° preheated oven for 45–50 minutes.

Is it possible to cut it in half and bake an 8x8?? It looks like it might work, but wonder if anyone has done this???
