Why is G‑d not real to you? Because your god is not real.

You begin with “Here I am, standing in this world,” and then you append, “and G‑d is watching down on me.”

If you begin with the premise of your own reality, what room is there left for His?

G‑d Is—and you and your world are a glimmer of His presence.

Rabbi Freeman,
If we are but a glimmer how do we define ourselves and give our lives meaning, fullfilment and joy?

Really!?
I wish this were true. I hope this is true. Sometimes I think this is true; sometimes my faith is very weak and I doubt everything. Hopefully that may be right. Shalom!

Don't like to think of G-d this way
G-d is so great, he does not need to keep us small, so that He might make an even greater impression.
My being there does not let room for His reality? G-d Is. But I am too. Why? He decided so. There is a part within me that is even part of Him Himself.
He gave us the ability to love Him, to long for Him. -
