Rabbi Gordon- I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching every single word of this presentation today, TishaB'av. So fascinating. Was able print out much of the engish translation and follow your explanations. When the Destruction Happened?

According to the calculations brought in Maimonides' introduction to the book YAD HACHAZAKAH, it's been 1941 years that the Holy Temple was destroyed and also hopefully we will witness very soon the construction of the Third Holy Temple speedily in our days Amen!!

The Bar Kochva Revolt chronology

Jerusalem was destoyed in the year 70 CE and the Bar Kochva revolt was 132-136 CE -- about 60-65 years later.

Is that the same era as Bar Kochva and Rabbi Akiva?
