Reciprocity

As much as the soul may yearn to return to the Infinite Light, much more so does the Infinite Light yearn to be found within the human soul. As our souls are reflections of the Infinite Light, so the Infinite Light reflects every nuance of our souls. We are one.

And not the human soul alone, but also the world-soul that vitalizes all life, the Shechina: As much as She yearns to reunite with the Source of Being, so much more does that Source of Being yearn to enter within this world.

If so, what force could stand between them? What could hold back Infinite Light?

It is only His desire that this union occur with our consent, that we be the ones to open the door.

"Open for me just as wide as a pinhole," G_d beseeches us, "and I will open for you as the great doorway of the Temple hall."

Dear YR, you say exactly what I meant, but was not able to say so clearly. G-d's uniqueness and oneness is something very special. (I spend all my Shabbatot with Him.)
He is never frightening. In my opinion there is no He or She. God encompasses all: judgment and mercy, the tenderness of a mother and the strength of a father. Although even among us there are tender and caring fathers as well as severe mothers. He, G-d, is just everything, and He is with us, very near to us at the moment, we call for him, yearn for His nearness, long to be close to Him.
And that, for me, is the most wonderful treasure Judaism owns. Thanks, that you said it so perfectly!!!!

The Shechina that is "separated" from the SOURCE?

Is not Shechina = the ONE? As well as Infinite Light, Source of Being or any other presentation.

Are not all different description are created for our sake to allow our limited comprehension of HIM?

An idea of "reuniting" of Shechina with the SOURCE contradicts with the only definition we have: the entity of absolute uniqueness.
and the absence of uniqueness leads to the absence of oneness.

(reply) Unity with the source of being
When G-d created the world he did it with the attributes of Mercy and Justice (female and male qualities). And if you look in Genesis 1:27 you see again that G-d created us in His image (male and female).
G-d made everything with its opposite, up down , left right front back, day night. We can not have one without the other, thats just how G-d made everything.
We need the Shechina simple because without her, our lives would not only be incomplete but also out of balance. We would only know G-d as a god of vengenceand and never have that opportunity to repent. That would be frightning. When G-d remembered our frailty He even gave us cities of refuge. HE IS SO GOOD!!
Enjoy His Sabbath and rest a while with Her.

Peace
I love the peace that She (The Shechina) brings on Erev Shabbat. I wait all week for her.

Unity with the source of being
Yes, my soul yearns to be with the Infinite Light, the source of our being.
But the Shechina? Isn't she herself a part of the Infinite Light, (and when the Shechinah is with me, G-d Himself is with me?)
Why do we need a Shechinah at all?
Sorry that my questions are so simple.
But as a ger (convert) I so much enjoy the One-ness and Uniqueness of G-d.
