The Aura

Each of us builds our own prison or our own palace.

Every conscious thought, every utterance of our lips, every interaction of ours with the world leaves its imprint upon an aura that surrounds each of us and stays with us wherever we go. All life, all blessing, all that is transmitted from Above must pass through that aura. Even if it be the greatest of blessings, the aura may distort it into ugly noise. Or it may resonate and amplify it even more.

An aura of beauty attracts beauty. An aura of love attracts love. An aura of life and joy attracts unbounded light.

Only you are the master of that aura. Only you have the permission and the power at any moment to transform your thoughts from the ugly to the beautiful, your words from bitter to sweet, your deeds from death to life.

And so too, your entire world.

meaningful
That was very well put whether one believes it literally or figuratively, the truth of the message remains.

Grateful for Josh's posting, from Ur, Iraq.
I am in agreement with Josh and I appreciate that Josh answered Leo's question about "transforming our world."

I am also grateful for Josh being in our world and knowing his holy mission and acting on it.

May you both be blessed to manifest your mission, to do tikkun / repair in all four worlds of spirit, mind, heart and body, in the image of G*d.

Aura-transform our world 2
... To sum up Leo, I personally change the world by studying science, physics, quantum mechanics, string theory, etc... I study Torah, commentaries, Zohar, Bahir, Sefer HaGilgulim, Sefer Yetzirah... And I have found countless uncanny resemblances between them all! I have come to realize how malleable and un-solid this universe really is. So I choose to change the world. With my positive actions and words. By performing the mitzvahs. By harnessing the inherent G-d energy that resonates throughout the entire universe, and using it in me to align it and give it back to G-d. I hope that makes sense. The two parts of math/science and faith/"religion", (religion for lack of better terminology) have been my path, my vehicle. I hope you find your power to change the world! Love and Light Leo!

The Aura-transform our world
Leo, I would like to answer your question. I hope Mr. Freeman won’t mind if I venture an explanation. Yes we absolutely can change our entire world! Scientists, theoretical physicists, and countless others in the scientific community are finding amazing discoveries about the nature of our universe every day. They have discovered at the deepest levels of creation, our universe is dependent upon input from free willed beings in order to operate and function. A number of scientists have described this and other such phenomenon in spiritual sounding terms. It as if the whole universe is being driven by a ghost. In addition, the Torah tells us we are made in His image. This extends beyond arms, legs, head, etc... It means that we are endowed and enabled with like powers. We too have the ability to create. That is in fact, our mission here. To co-create with G-d, to rectify and repair this world. Repair with our actions and words...

The Aura
Those are beautiful thoughts.
Please explain to me the last sentence:
"And so too, your entire world."
Does it mean that we can transform our entire world?

Thank you for the most beautiful, uplifting, inspiring of teachings, you share with us from the Rebbe.

Today is the 40th yahrzeit, of my mother, Libby, of blessed memory, for whom my daughter is named.

I have a candle lit and I do mitzvot in the zechut/merit of my beloved mother. Her light shines. Her blesSings continue from generation to generation.

My choice is to "transform" life to the "beautiful ...and sweet." I hold the KEY to the "prison or palace" and consciously turn it.
