The Last War

Some people are waiting for a final, apocalyptic war.

But the final war is not fought on battlefields, nor at sea, nor in the skies above. Neither is it a war between leaders or nations. The final war is fought in the heart of each human being, with the armies of his or her deeds in this world.

The final war is the battle of Chanukah and the miracle of light.

May the last war be exactly as The Rebbe tells us.

Last War
How do you know this for sure that the last battle is fought in the mind only? I am a reader of Torah and the Bible, and have been taught that there will be an Armegadon where there is an actual physical war, that takes place in Israel and involves many nations coming against Israel.

The Last War
Again the article is so pertinent that I just have to reflect directly on my own page and this comment to acknowledge your guidance, teaching, and company. G-d bless you. Amen.

Thank you..
Thank you for your words .. This so resonates with what I experienced when I finally faced my own fears and opened up to my beliefs.. it felt as is I floated through a brick wall and as if I heard a voice saying that " I only needed to face my own fears inside of me.. and still move forward".. The light I felt and the spiritual experiences after was tremendous... I have long since felt that this is what all of us need to do..this is the war.. but it does not come without pain... letting go appears as pain.. but it's like throwing yourself over a waterfall and trust that you are going to make it....

miracle of light
Beautiful and true sentiment.

This would be a wonderful year for a victory of light over darkness! Isn't this also the year in which the Blessing of the Sun is recited or recognized? April 2009? I'm not entirely sure of what the Blessing of the Sun is about but it sounds wonderful.
